All students have a right to feel safe and happy at school. To assist all students achieving a positive experience while at Telopea Park School there are several support services available. If you want to talk about any issues or if someone is causing you distress, talk to someone who can help you. The following people are some of the people you can talk to:
The Student Welfare Executive Teacher is always keen to talk to students about any concerns. The Student Welfare Executive Teacher is located in Student Services, Room A3.
The Pastoral Care Coordinator develops the Pastoral Care Program and oversees the Student Representative Council and its numerous activities. The Pastoral Care Coordinator is located in Student Services, Room A3.
The Youth Worker is always keen to talk to students about their concerns. The Youth Worker is located in Student Services, Room A3.
The School Psychologist's office is located near Room 17, you can make an appointment by calling into the School Psychologist's Office or by leaving a note for the School Psychologist to contact you.
The Year Coordinator monitors the academic, social, and emotional development of all the students in their year group. The Year Coordinator can offer you advice and guidance. The Year 10 Coordinator is located in the Science faculty. The Year 9 Coordinator is located in the Individuals and Societies faculty. The Year 8 Coordinator is located in the English faculty. The Year 7 Coordinator is located in the Language Acquisition faculty.
Every student belongs to a Pastoral Group. These are small groups that aim to support and encourage you throughout your time at Telopea Park School. Your Pastoral Group teacher meets with you every day. This teacher may be able to initially offer you advice and guidance.
