Telopea Park School has been selected from a very large number of applications for a grant to host Aboriginal plants reflecting the links to the land of the Ngunnawal people this project will be carried out in a space within the primary garden during the year and will be completed by the end of November 2022.
The children will be involved in the design of the new planters and will study the development of the aboriginal plants, in order to promote sustainable environmental practices, cultivate and improve awareness of local biodiversity and its management. The garden club, art classes and our Telopea students will work together to develop this project.
